According to Zamora, manual and semi-automatic assembly operations have already begun in this 30,000-square-foot factory. The company plans to install three injection molding machines in October and December this year, with a clamping force of 200 tons.
At present, 100% of the products are produced in the United States, and about 80% of the company's equipment is used in the medical and automotive industries. The Mexican company has about 45 employees and is expected to grow to about 120 in the next three years.
Engineer Zamora said that the Monterey area has good infrastructure, qualified labor and close to the US border, with a good geographical location.
Weiss-Aug is headquartered in Hanover and has another factory in Fairfield, New Jersey.
